A scientific seminar on “Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Research” was held at the Institute of Radiation Problems

A scientific seminar on “Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Research” was jointly organized by the Institute of Radiation Problems (RPI), under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction.

The event opened with a welcome address by RPI’s Director General, Academician Islam Mustafayev, who congratulated Doctor of Physical Sciences Nushaba Hajiyeva on her 75th anniversary and praised her many years of scientific contributions. He also extended his congratulations to Zenfira Ishganderova on receiving her Doctor of Chemical Sciences diploma, summarizing the key findings of her radiation‑related research.

Following these opening remarks, Sarkhan Talibzadeh, PhD in Engineering and Director of the Center for Information Communication Technologies at Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, delivered a presentation titled “Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Research.” He provided detailed insights into technological prospects in science, the transformative role of AI, and emerging opportunities in the field.

The seminar concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, during which participants exchanged views and discussed the topic.
