Three young scientists from the Institute of Radiation Problems named to Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% list
Three young scientists from the Institute of Radiation Problems - PhD in Physics Gunel Imanova, Doctor of Physical Sciences Elchin Huseynov, and Doctor of Physical Sciences Matlab Mirzayev - were included in the "Top 2% Scientists" list for 2025, jointly compiled by Stanford University and Elsevier Publishing House, in recognition of the quality and impact of their scientific publications and citations.
Their research focuses on physicochemical processes in materials exposed to various types of radiation, including studies on the kinetics of radiation-assisted nanoparticle implantation and hydrogen formation in heterogeneous systems under radiation. The results achieved in this field have been highly valued by the international scientific community.
It should be noted that E. Huseynov and M. Mirzayev have been featured on this list many times in recent years.
