Seminar Held at the Institute of Physics
On June 16, 2026, a seminar was held at the Institute of Physics under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the implementation of the National Action Program for Enhancing the Effectiveness of the Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms in the Republic of Azerbaijan, approved by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The seminar was opened with welcoming remarks by Sitara Baghirova, Chairperson of the Institute’s Trade Union Committee and Doctor of Philosophy in Physics (PhD). After introducing the topic of the seminar and highlighting its significance to the participants, she invited the speaker to deliver the presentation.
At the seminar, Sevinc Husaynova, PhD in Law, Associate Professor and Leading Research Fellow of the “Digital Oriental Studies and Artificial Intelligence” Department at the Z.M. Buniyatov Institute of Oriental Studies of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, delivered a presentation on the topic “International Legal Standards for the Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms: The European Convention and the Activity Directions of Other State Bodies.”
A broad discussion was held on the topic, and participants’ questions were addressed.
