The Innovation and Technology Transfer Office Continues Its Series of Meetings with Laboratory Staff at the Institute of Physics
On 22 July 2026, the Innovation and Technology Transfer Office (TTO) of the Institute of Physics, a Public Legal Entity (PLE) operating under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, held another meeting with the staff of the Physics of Superconductors Laboratory.
Opening the meeting, Namiq Heydarov, Head of the Innovation and Technology Transfer Office (TTO), provided the participants with a comprehensive overview of the Office’s key areas of activity and its principal objectives.
The meeting continued with welcoming remarks by Dr. Saida Asadullayeva, Head of the Physics of Superconductors Laboratory, who greeted the participants and presented an overview of the laboratory’s main research areas, highlighting the scientific work carried out by its researchers across various fields of study.
Former laboratory researcher Vagif Aliyev delivered a comprehensive presentation on superconductors, their fields of application, and the scientific research he has conducted in this area.
The meeting continued with a presentation by Dr. Qurban Ahmadov, a researcher at the laboratory, who provided an overview of the patents developed by the laboratory and discussed their potential applications and prospects for commercialization.
The meeting continued with a presentation by laboratory researcher Arzu Sadiqova, who delivered a comprehensive overview of polymer–nanoclay composites and their diverse fields of application.
The meeting continued in an interactive atmosphere of discussion and exchange of ideas, with participants engaging in extensive deliberations on topics of mutual interest and addressing a wide range of questions.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Saida Asadullayeva, Head of the Physics of Superconductors Laboratory, expressed her appreciation to the staff of the Innovation and Technology Transfer Office (TTO) and wished them continued success in their activities.
