The Civil Defense Headquarters held a seminar at the Institute of Physics
On June 25, 2026, a training seminar titled “Checking the preparedness of civil defense forces during the elimination of emergency situations,” dedicated to the exercise “Alert and assembly drill of civil defense forces,” was held at the Institute of Physics (PLL) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, organized by the Civil Defense Headquarters.
The seminar was opened with an introductory speech by the Head of the Civil Defense Headquarters of the Institute, Dursun Nazar oglu Abdullayev. Dursun Abdullayev stated that the purpose of the seminar is to raise awareness among institute staff regarding the organization of civil defense preparedness, to ensure the protection of employees, to improve the practical skills and preparedness of management bodies and senior personnel in the management of civil defense forces, and to develop practical skills for organizing and carrying out urgent operations by civil defense authorities and forces during emergency situations.
Afterwards, an informative video presentation related to civil defense measures was shown to the staff.
At the end of the seminar, a number of questions of interest to the employees were answered.
