The Institute of Physics hosted a training seminar
On 19 June 2026, a training seminar entitled “A Strategy Aligned with the New Requirements of Management” was held at the Institute of Physics of the Ministry of Science and Education, a Public Legal Entity (PLE). The seminar was dedicated to the 2027–2031 activity strategy of the Institute’s International Cooperation Sector.
Opening the seminar with introductory remarks, Head of the International Cooperation Sector, Kuba Mehdiyeva, welcomed the participants and emphasized the relevance and strategic importance of the topic.
Subsequently, the Sector’s Chief Specialist, PhD in Physics Rustam Rustamov, and Specialist Aynur Rasulova delivered a presentation outlining the main directions of the International Cooperation Sector’s development strategy and brought them to the attention of the participants.
The presentation provided a detailed overview of key issues, including the implementation of modern management principles, the expansion of international scientific cooperation, the promotion of active participation in international research grant projects, support for scientific training and capacity building abroad, the development of relations with diaspora organizations, the organization of international scientific events, and the integration of research outcomes into the global scientific community.
In addition, information was presented on activities aimed at promoting scientific research, strengthening communication and outreach efforts, enhancing the international visibility and reputation of the Institute’s scientific publications, and advancing initiatives in line with the principles of Open Science.
It was noted that the primary objective of the strategy is to further strengthen the Institute of Physics’ position within the international scientific community, ensure the effective utilization of its scientific potential, and promote the Institute’s development in accordance with modern management standards.
At the end of the event, participants exchanged views on the topic and discussed the proposed strategic objectives as well as the mechanisms for their implementation.
