A cooperation agreement was signed between the Institutes of Physics and Chemistry for the implementation of multidisciplinary scientific research activities
On May 14, 2026, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Institute of Physics PLE and the Institute of Chemistry PLE of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the joint implementation of scientific research activities. The agreement envisages expanding collaborative scientific research in priority areas of Physics and Chemistry. The main goal of the cooperation is to promote the development of multidisciplinary fundamental and innovative research, as well as the advancement of science and education. According to the agreement, scientists and specialists from both institutes will conduct joint scientific research, physicochemical analyses, and various scientific projects. The parties also plan to organize regular seminars, meetings, and educational events in areas where Physics and Chemistry intersect. The agreement further includes joint scientific supervision of doctoral students and the evaluation of their research work by leading experts. At the same time, cooperation will be carried out in organizing international and national conferences, symposiums, exhibitions, and training programs. The parties will also collaborate to improve the quality of articles and theses published in scientific journals and to facilitate the integration of these journals into international databases.
