An event dedicated to September 27 - Memorial Day was held at the Institute of Radiation Problems
An event dedicated to September 27 - Memorial Day was held at the Institute of Radiation Problems of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, organized by the Trade Union Organization.
The event began with the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs.
The Director General of the Institute, Corresponding Member of ANAS Islam Mustafayev, opened the event with an introductory speech, highlighting the heroism of the martyrs, the unity of the people, and the historical significance of the Patriotic War. He also emphasized the efforts made to honor the memory of the martyrs through the scientific and public activities of the Institute, as well as the participation of the Institute's employees in the Patriotic War:
"Our sovereignty is strengthening— we have liberated our lands without causing harm to the environment. This reflects both our love for the Motherland and our responsibility for future generations."
Then, the executive director of the institute, PhD in physics and associate professor Ravan Mehdiyeva, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of preserving the memory of the martyrs. She spoke about the unparalleled heroism of the Azerbaijani Army and expressed her pride in the bravery of our soldiers and officers who fought for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country.
The event concluded with the screening of a video dedicated to the memory of the martyrs.
