Researchers from the Institute of Radiation Problems Named Winners of the 15th “Mobility Grant” Competition
The 15th “Mobility Grant” competition, announced by the Azerbaijan Science Foundation, has successfully concluded. At this stage, three employees of the Institute of Radiation Problems were awarded in the “Azerbaijan Science Foundation Grant Competition” for their submitted projects.
Doctor of Philosophy in Physics and Associate Professor Amina Mikayilova participated in the competition with her project titled “Nuclear Analytical Techniques for Radioecological Studies in the Environment (Soil, Water, Sediment, etc.)” and was awarded a grant. As part of this project, A. Mikayilova will complete a one-month research internship at the Institute of Nuclear Sciences of Ankara University, Turkey.
The Institute's leading researcher, PhD in Physics and Associate Professor Rakhshane Mamishova, received a grant for her project titled “Study of the Interaction of Radiation Defects with Structural Defects on the Physical Properties of CuTlS₂(Se₂) Crystals.” R. Mamishova will continue her research for 23 days at the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering of Gazi University in Ankara.
The Institute's senior laboratory assistant, Sanam Valiyeva, was awarded a grant for her project titled “Scientific Training Program on Analytical Analysis of Polymer Composites Using FTIR, UV, and HPLC Instruments.” S. Valiyeva will conduct a one-month research internship at the Advanced Technologies Research and Application Center of Sivas Cumhuriyet University.
